Ruralidyll is the namesake of artist animator Dylan White

About me

I’m an artist and animation director with a background in music promos, tv commercials, short films and series.

Between drawing, animation and words my art focuses on themes of deep time, landscape and animism, through a mix of analogue and digital media.

As one half of animated musical duo Hidything, I create Balearic hidents and experimental loops in collaboration with songwriter and musician Samantha Whates.

I mentor and consult for Film London, London Screen Academy and Royal College of Art.

You can collect my art as digital editions, risoprints, giclées and comics or get in touch directly to commission animation and music videos. I take on both directing, animation and illustration from my studio by the seaside.
